Plagiarism is the act of using someone else's work, knowingly or unknowingly, without proper credit. A lot of students can fall subject to the act of plagiarism because of work they have due for classes that involve writing and expressing ideas. There are some ways to avoid committing the act; one is by citing any work taken from articles, web pages, books, videos, etc. and another way is to avoid using the exact words said, like summarizing, that way an new idea can be formed with the help of an older one.
